In the competition in Sweden 17 nations took part: Austria, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Norway, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Sweden and The Netherlands. For the first time, the competition was held separately for girls as well.
